ZOOM KOBE V (POP)
BLACK/HROME-DL SOL-VRSTY PRPL
This years version of the ZOOM KOBE POP(playoff pack) is black based, as compared to last years POP version(pictures below). The ZOOM KOBE V POPs feature a unique triangular pattern in the Del Sol and Varsity Purple area probably symbolizing what I would assume to be the LAKERS triangle offense. Once again the icy clear soles appear on another ZOOM KOBE V which makes the shoes even more appealing.
As KOBE and the LAKERS begin their quest to defend their NBA title in the 2010 NBA Playoffs, this particular colorway will most likely make it's debut on 22 April 2010 when the LAKERS play GM 3 against the Thunders in Oklahoma, where the team wears a black or dark base colored shoe for road games.
I was fortunate enough again to purchase another pair of ZOOM KOBE Vs and I look forward to wearing these during the LAKERS title defense run in the Playoffs! Not only will KOBE be sporting this colorway, but there's a chance that Lamar Odom, Derek Fisher, DJ Mbenga, Shannon Brown, and Josh Powell will be wearing these as well.
